Intermediate Musical Theatre Training Class: The Sound of Music!
Students will engage in fundamental Broadway skills including singing, acting, and choreography, and take their role on stage in a performance of The Sound of Music, staged for a younger audience. Students will study musicianship skills (sight reading, vocal style, etc.), acting skills (characterization, listening, scene work, etc.), and choreography (dance skills, musical theatre styles).

Advanced Musical Theatre Training Class: The Sound of Music
Students will engage in fundamental Broadway skills and take their role in a full stage production of The Sound of Music. Students will study audition techniques, musicianship skills (sight reading, vocal style, harmonization, vocal technique), acting skills (in-depth character work, script analysis, research, scene work), and choreography (classical musical theatre styles, storytelling through dance). The music and history of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s works will be explored.
Entrance by permission or audition. New students audition on January 21st.
Advanced Acting (Actor's Conservatory)
Students will study acting skills, including classical theatre, stage combat, and Shakespearean language and style. Students will have the opportunity to attend the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Lexington, March 1-5, 2017.
